FULLNESS OF LIFE MISSION-UGANDA

Welcome to Fullness of Life Mission (FOLM)-Uganda. We are glad that you came. We are here to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged people in poverty-stricken, disaster and conflict-prone areas of Uganda through the life-transforming power of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus in both word and deed. We want to see lives and communities transformed for the Glory of God.

Numerous challenges face children and youths in Uganda: One in every 19 children dies before the first birthday. There is rampant food insecurity in the country and many families do not have enough food to last through the “hungry season” between harvests, and more than one in four children under age 5 is stunted. Close to 18% of school-aged children are not enrolled in school and the dropout rate averages 66% and there is an estimated 2.3 million orphans in Uganda due to HIV/AIDS and civil wars.

We are working towards a community in which women are economically empowered and the children are; given a healthy start, educated, protected from harm and cared for, and the youths are availed opportunities to know God, grow strong and full of promise and will for a sustainable livelihood.
